Joseph Clark – Head CrossFit Coach
I have been an athlete all my life. I started playing sports at age 4, and simply never look back. I have be training individuals to reach their fitness goals for the past 15 years. While I am a big advocate of CrossFit I have studied many styles of training, and believe in any form of physical fitness that gets people up and moving. I do believe in the fundamentals and foundation of CrossFit. I love how it takes the ordinary and makes them extraordinary. I like to think I have a positive impact on everyone on a train inside and outside the gym.
Tracee Lockhart – Head CrossFit Coach
Growing up, my parents were always running me to try-outs, practice and/or games; playing whatever sport was in season. Being athletic came natural to me and fueled my competitive side from a young age. I joined the gym about 5 years ago which included weightlifting and cardio. I gained what I thought I was looking for out of the gym, but found myself tired of the same old routines day in and day out, as well as the relentless hours spent on a treadmill or elliptical machine trying to get enough cardio in..
So I made a decision to try something new and give CrossFit a chance.. Turns out, CrossFit was the change I was looking for!! I obtained my Level 1 Certification in January 2014 and have been coaching ever since. It’s truly rewarding to help people reach the goals they didn’t think were possible. In September 2014, I took the opportunity to start coaching at CrossFit West Louisville and couldn’t be happier. Leadership from Joe Clark has not only made me a better athlete, but an even better coach!
JR Marsteller -CrossFit Coach
I have been active my whole life, playing sports like baseball, football, running, and even broomball in the Army. I worked out at home, but just wasn’t getting the results I wanted. After raising my kids and having more time for myself, I joined CrossFit West Louisville. This is where I began getting the results I wanted, and gaining a gym family as well. The sense of camaraderie is unmatched. In March 2015, I earned my Level 1 Certification. I enjoy coaching and helping others reach their goals and get the results they want.
